Military Families of Monroe County
Welcome to Military Families of Monroe County! We are a non-profit organization (501C3) located in Monroe Michigan, founded in October of 2011 to provide moral support for active duty, veterans, and families in military service to our country.
Military Families of Monroe County is a non profit organization that consists of all volunteers! 99.9% of all proceeds benefit our local military personnel! MFMC has been able to provide over 600 care packages to troops from the Monroe area, and over 21 Hero Homecoming events,in addition to many other community events.
What we do...
Hero Homecomings - Homecoming greeting for Jesse Griffin and Korey Wichowski on the River Raisin Center for the Arts marquee in downtown Monroe. MFMC has provided 22 Hero Homecomings for over 26 returning combat veterans!
Care Packages - MFMC runs semi-annual care package building workshops. We ship to service members world wide! If you know a local service member who would like one, let us know!
Fund raising events - MFMC engages in many fund raising events such as annual bake sales, community sales, and others to raise money to provide Hero Homecoming events and care packages for our troops serving anywhere in the world from Monroe County!
